Latvia is situated on the shore of the Baltic Sea and shares borders with Estonia, Lithuania, Russia, and Belarus. It has a population of approximately 2.5 Million people. More than 50% of Latvia’s land is forested. Latvia has been a full member of the European Union since May 1st, 2004.
The company was founded in 1995 and production began in 1997. The annual production is in the range of 280 000 m3 sawn timber and the company employs about 170 people with an annual turnover of approximately 50 Million Euros in year 2009.
